Food First Luton

What we do

Find Food Luton:

- developed an interactive map listing organisations and venues to raise awareness of local food provision

- continually being updated

Healthy Start Scheme:

- partnership work to increase uptake with council officers, midwifery team, Maternity Voices, Health Visitors, Active Luton/Total Wellbeing and Flying Start

- purchased and circulated information leaflets to over 130 locations; promotion included on TV screens at GP surgeries

- monthly monitoring has seen an overall increase of 3.1% with some post code areas seeing a 7% increase in uptake

Free School Meals:

- developed new campaign "More than Just a Meal"
