23 May 2019 17:30 - 23 May 2019 19:00
B200, University Building, City University of London, Northampton Square London EC1V 0HB

Centre for Food Policy's May Food Thinkers seminar given by Dr Sandro Demaio (EAT).

Food is now a major driver for many of our greatest global challenges, including climate change, biodiversity loss, conflict, and human malnutrition. It represents and reflects the collective failures of our time and closely tracks global and local inequities. Yet food is also emotive, tangible, and for many of us — a thing of love. It connects us across social, political, and geographic divides. In a seemingly inward-looking and fear-fuelled world, could food be the missing ingredient to positive social change?
