East Ayrshire Food Partnership

The East Ayrshire food partnership is a cross-collaborative partnership which combines local authority stakeholders within (East Ayrshire Council) key suppliers and SMEs within our region.  The partnership was born in 2019 and has growth plans to support businesses to access product development and additional support during a challenging economic climate. East Ayrshire champions utilising local produce, as this not only benefits smaller businesses in the economy but promotes reducing food miles to help the environment. East Ayrshire council is currently in its 15th year of being the only gold-awarded Food For Life member in Scotland, therefore, there is a strong passion for all food-related matters in the area, and doing what we can for a better and more sustainable future is essential.  The partnership enhances cross-sector collaboration to facilitate the sharing of data, insight and best practices and joint delivery of services and initiatives
